Hackers accessed data on some American Airlines customers

Two American Airlines Boeing 737s are shown at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in 2022. Hackers gained access to personal information of some customers and employees at American Airlines.

American told customers that information in the compromised email accounts could have included their date of birth, driver's license and passport numbers and medical information.
